Each patient has an initial consult. We go through your medical history, your goals, eating habits, and any questions you may have.

We weigh you in our office along with other body composition measurements and give your results. Our physician will prescribe you a medication that we believe will best fit your needs/lifestyle. We follow up with you monthly for weigh ins and medication refills.

We ask that if you've had a full blood work panel within the last 6 months to please bring in a physical copy to your appointment or email it over prior to support@luxeestheticstudio.com with “(your full name) - bloodwork” as the subject line.

Our most recommended prescription is for what is commonly known as Semaglutide. It is a GLP-1 medication that has few contraindications and few side effects.

Semaglutide subcutaneous injections are used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults. Semaglutide subcutaneous injections are also used to reduce the risk of non-fatal cardiovascular (CV) events and CV mortality in T2DM patients with CV disease. Semaglutide subcutaneous injection is indicated as an adjunct to lifestyle modifications for weight loss and chronic weight management in obese or overweight adults. Increases insulin production, a hormone that lowers the blood sugar level while inhibiting glucagon secretion, which is a hormone that raises blood sugar, and reduces appetite and energy intake while delaying gastric emptying.

Your initial consult will require a $50 deposit that will go towards your total cost. During your consult we will go over pricing for anything we may recommend. When appropriate we will include your first dosage on your initial visit.

The GLP-1 class of drugs isn't recommended if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer, multiple endocrine neoplasia, or a history of pancreatitis.

The most common symptoms associated with the use of GLP-1 receptor agonists are gastrointestinal symptoms, mainly nausea. Other common adverse effects include injection site reactions, headache, and nasopharyngitis, but these effects do not usually result in discontinuation of the drug and are temporary.
